Powerhaus, a high-end Leeds-based gym, approached me to elevate their brand identity and strengthen their online presence. They were looking to modernise their visual language and create a cohesive social media strategy that reflects their premium offering and vibrant community. I worked closely with the Powerhaus team to develop a bold, energetic brand direction that aligns with their values and positions them as a leader in the fitness space.
The brief.
Powerhaus is a high-end gym based in Leeds, built around intensity, performance, and high energy. The brief was to create a bold, premium brand identity that reflected the strength and focus of the Powerhaus ethos while appealing to a modern, design-conscious audience. The identity needed to feel confident and powerful, working seamlessly across physical and digital touchpoints—from equipment and apparel to signage, stationery, and tech.
The Process.
The design process centred on balance: raw energy paired with refined execution. A strong, geometric marque was developed to convey structure, strength, and movement, supported by a high-contrast colour palette of deep blacks and vibrant greens to signal energy and momentum. Clean typography and considered layouts ensured clarity and consistency, while textured gradients and dynamic compositions added depth and atmosphere. Every element was designed as part of a cohesive system, allowing the brand to flex across environments without losing impact.
The Result.
The final identity positions Powerhaus as a premium fitness brand with presence and purpose. Confident, modern, and instantly recognisable, the visual system translates effortlessly across equipment, merchandise, digital interfaces, and print. The result is a brand that feels high-energy yet controlled—capturing the intensity of the gym experience while elevating it through thoughtful, high-end design.
